Staff have today been told to immediately isolate for a period of 14 days if they were working on Saturday between 11:30am and 7:00pm or Sunday between 11:30am – 6:00pm.

It comes as rumors were being posted on Facebook as early as Monday about a delivery driver being exposed to a covid case. It is understood that the driver has now returned a positive test making the store a tier 1 site.

Coles will again close it’s doors at 6pm tonight.

Although it is not currently listed on the coronavirus website, it has been confirmed by the COVIDPete Facebook page.

In addition to the Coles site situation, Melton has also had two new exposure sites listed today.

T1 – The Coffee Club Cafe, Woodgrove between 1:14pm – 2:18pm on 05/08/2021
T2 – Chemist Warehouse, 4/66 High St between 6:30pm – 7:40pm on 08/08/2021

If you have any symptoms, however mild, you should get tested immediately.
Symptoms… Fever, Chills, Sweats, Cough, Sore throat, Shortness of breath, Runny nose, Loss of sense of taste or smell.
