SES volunteers from Gisborne have come to the aid of a motorcyclist injured in a hard-to-access area of the Lerderderg State Park.
The alarm was raised just after 4pm today (Saturday) to Ratcliffe Track.
A ‘wilderness’ crew from the Gisborne Unit arrived at the scene at 4.30pm, where they found a man believed to be in his 30s.
He was taken via 4-wheel-drive-only tracks to a waiting ambulance crew.
The man was then taken to hospital by paramedics at 4.56pm.
Police also attended.
Ractliff Track is in the north easter section of the park and runs on a ridge parallel to Bacchus Marsh-Gisborne Rd.
