Telstra has announced an expansion of their 5G network with tower upgrades at Melton, Lancefield and Gisborne.

Telstra General Manager, Steve Tinker said “More Telstra 5G coverage means more customers with 5G devices can get those faster download speeds and enjoy greater capacity during those busy periods on the mobile network.

We’re continually expanding our 5G network across Melbourne and regional areas of Victoria and we’re adding up to 60 new Telstra 5G sites to the network every week across the country.

The Melton expansion will see 5G available in Kurunjang, Meltn and Melton South including the Western Freeway.

There are four Telstra 5G sites in Melton. Kurunjang, Melton South, Melton West and a site in Melton near the intersection of High Street and Melton Highway.

These four sites in Melton build on Telstra’s existing 5G coverage across Western Victoria including Bacchus Marsh, Bacchus Marsh North, Darley.
