The skies over Eynesbury may be a little louder on Wednesday night due to fireboming training south of Eynesbury.

Emergency Management Victoria say they will be doing night training in the area.

The training does not involve any live fire and there is no risk of ignition.

The training is scheduled to finish by 11pm to reduce the impact of noise in the area.

Where possible, aircraft will endeavour to stay distant from rural infrastructure. Emergency Management Victoria acknowledge the potential impact of night operations

This training is a vital component to the development of the Night Fire Aviation Program, providing safe and effective night fire capability as another tool available to help protect communities during the fire season.
