Missing persons squad detectives have returned to a White Flat property to execute a search warrant in the investigation into the disappearance of Kobie Parfitt.

Forensics officers joined them at the scene at Hickman St.

Earlier this week police appealed for information after they determined it was likely the mother-of-four was murdered.

The 43-year-old has not been seen since the week of Anzac Day.

Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper said police were getting “very close” to finding those responsible for Kobie’s death.

“The investigation has led us to determine that she was last seen alive at a property on Hickman Street on April 28 and we believe she was murdered the same day,” he said.

“We have returned to the area a number of times already and will continue to do so every time we receive new information.

“I’ve said before, we know there are people in the community who know what happened to Kobie and we urge those who we haven’t already spoken to, to contact us.

“We are continuing to receive a significant amount of information and it’s a matter of time before those responsible for her death are arrested.

“Our investigators are sifting through every piece of information and I would like to thank the public for their continued response. We urge anyone else with information to come forward.”

Det Insp Stamper said police were aware there were more people out there with information about Kobie’s death.

“We have received a significant amount of information since Sunday (November 22) and as a result, our investigation has gained significant momentum,” he said.

“While we feel we are close to getting to the bottom of what happened to Kobie, we are once again urging anyone who knows anything to come forward to police.”

“This includes anyone who may have been involved, as it’s only a matter of time before we find them.”
