Is that massive stack of borrowed books and DVDs gathering dust on your coffee table?

From this week you can return to libraries across Moorabool and browse the shelves in person – but with a couple of restrictions.

The first ‘browse-able’ library will be at the Ballan Mechanics Hall from 1-4pm today (Monday 26 October), while the Lerderderg Library in Main St Bacchus Marsh will run a click-and-collect service on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

It will open for browsing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10am-4pm – and on Saturdays 10am-2pm.

** To click and collect, check out this website or Moorabool’s Book a Book service. You’ll need a PIN number and your library card number to be able to place holds on items.

If you live outside Bacchus Marsh and Ballan and usually access the mobile library van, only one person at a time will be allowed inside. Bookings can be made by calling 0419 519 650.
