Residents in Brookfield and Woodlea are counting the cost as a group of people caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to cars, truck and homes overnight.

Local Facebook groups have been inundated with images of the graffiti damage overnight and residents have been quick to condemn the behavior.

Truck Owner, John Spence posted a photo of is truck this morning, with a status saying “In the Melton area Can everyone spread this around come out this morning to my truck looking like this You can clearly see on the bunk someone’s tag. Would be great to catch up with this person”

Video has also been shared on Facebook seemingly showing a BA/BF ford in grey/silver stopping to let out a passenger who then steals a wheelie bin and takes it for a ride.

This is the best video I could get of the scum who trashed our homes and belongings… I will keep trying to zoom in and see if we can identify them
