A car and a trailbike have collided in Exford Road – next to Melton South Primary School – just after 3pm today (Friday).

Paramedics say a woman in her 20s is being flown by HEMS air ambulance to Melbourne.

She is in a serious condition with suspected upper and lower body injuries.

“One appliance from Melton Fire Station responded to Exford Road in Melton South, following reports of a road collision just after 3pm,” Fire Rescue Victoria spokesperson Tahnee Baker said.

“Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes to find a trail bike and vehicle had crashed.

“Crews assessed the area and ensured it was made safe before handing the scene to Victoria Police.”

A man is also being flown to hospital in a critical condition after he was trapped in a crash at Korweinguboora.

All three accidents happened within 90-minutes of each other.
