Another day, another rise in COVID cases in Melton LGA. The good news however is that the number of active cases in Melton LGA has reduced again.

Melton LGA increased by 17 cases overnight, bringing the total in the shire to 1061. Active cases in Melton total 164, a reduction overnight of 16.

Moorabool after a few days increasing, has remained steady with no new cases recorded overnight. Moorabool total case numbers are 39, with 15 active.

Ballarat has also recorded no new cases. Total cases identified in Ballarat are 61 with 6 active according to today’s DHHS stats.

Whyndham is still the states most affected area having surpassed 2000 cases yesterday, with a total now sitting on 2042. 311 of their total are currently active.

Golden Plains and Hepburn are currently showing no active cases with totals of 18 and 2 respectively.

The Melton drive thru COVID testing station has changed its operating hours. The Barries Rd fever clinic will now open from 9am and close at 4.30pm.

Weekend hours remain the same (9am-12pm).
