Health and Human Services has confirmed a second COVID19 case at Melton Specialist School.

Parents and carers received the news in a letter from the school yesterday (Thursday).

As a precaution, MSS will be initially closed for 24 hours or until advised that they can re-open.

During the closure, all staff and students are requested to limit their movements.

All schools in the state are now doing remote learning, with the exception of specialist schools, and approved children with special needs, children at risk and children of essential workers.

DHHS is conducting contact tracing.

If you are feeling unwell, you should get tested.

## COVID19 symptoms include cough, fever, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose and loss of smell.
